Spirit of Life,

When we are afraid, remind us we are still held.

When we are hurting, remind us we are more than what hurts.

When we cannot fix,

solve,

demonstrate,

or overcome,

teach us how to remain connected—

to ourselves,

to one another,

and to the sacred worth that never leaves us.

May we stop using spirituality as a weapon against our humanity.

May we stop demanding that healing look like success,

strength,

or certainty.

May we discover a healing deeper than performance:

the healing of belonging,

the healing of being seen,

the healing of ripening.

Maybe we're not falling apart.

Maybe we're a people caught between not yet and no longer.

Maybe we're ripening.

Maybe your body isn't resisting you.

Maybe it's refusing to participate in your erasure.

And maybe what feels like unraveling

is not the end of the story.

Maybe it is life, quietly and patiently,

calling us toward our own sweetness.

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve done work around the concept of the space in between and this beautifully expresses where we are currently as a nation and as a people. And as a farmer, I particularly love the the fruit & tree metaphor!

This is beautiful and hopeful. My favorite line: "Let the exhaustion be evidence that you’re still attached to something feeding you, not proof that the whole tree is dying."

This so spoke to me today - as all your posts do. We are all rushing and pushing and doing and worrying and stressing and look where it got us. And I know I feel exhausted. As an irresistible force pushes against an immovable object- nothing happens but exhaustion and nothing ever changes. Softening sounds amazing! This allows us to start from a place of being instead of doing, of relaxing and breathing and listening to the small still voice inside where all the potentials for healing and change are. For me its silence itself and just slowing down to be able to hear the message. Thanks for a mew perspective. Blessings for a beautiful day.
